The Center for Integrated Access Networks (CIAN) awards travel grants for graduate, undergraduate, and postdoctoral researchers who are visiting a CIAN partner school to initiate, develop, or continue work on a collaborative project. Travel Grants may be used for international travel to CIAN international partners. Applications are continually being reviewed; submissions are accepted at any time.
A position (President, Vice President, or Treasurer) in CIAN’s Student Leadership Council (SLC) at your host university.
CIAN students and postdocs are eligible for 1 Travel Grant per year. If it has been 1 year since your last award, please apply again.
Travel Grant reviewers especially appreciate and give due weight to thoughtful, focused student statements. The student statement should be understandable to graduate students from any CIAN Research Thrust.
Range of support:
The committee will award up to $1000.00 per student, even though the travel cost may exceed that amount.
