CTY Engineering and Applied Science Day @Columbia University

On September 20, 2014 gifted students from the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth attended Engineering and Applied Science Day at Columbia University. In sessions taught throughout the day, students and their parents learned about the inner workings of the internet and learned about the basic scientific principles that are in use that make their internet work.

CIAN students Atiyah Ahsan and Cathy Chen led the sessions organized by members of the EE faculty and organizers at the Center for Talented Youth.

All in all, it was a great day of sharing our experiences as graduate students with the students of the CTY program.
